In yesterday’s “Get Unstuck: Go for the Goal with a Group” I discussed how a group mindset and accountability can help to accomplish goals. I’ve joined a January healthy living group which, paired with the 40 Days to Personal Revolution (also accomplishing Yoga Tampa Bay’s 30 Day Yoga Challenge), I think will help me unleash my awesomeness and creativity in 2013.
Now, drum roll please, I’m taking it one step further.
I’m doing the #365yoga challenge, too.
“EGADS!” I can hear y’all saying. “Can she really handle another thing?!?”
Why yes, yes, I can. Especially when that one other thing seems to bring so many of my goals together into one all encompassing practice.
365 days of yoga, blogging, and living a yoga love lifestyle. I did say I wanted stop faffing now and let my inner love artist rock in 2013. What better way to turn my dreams and goals to reality, than by putting my dreams fully to the test–and reporting back on my victories. (And laughing at my defeats, such as when I feel like I suck at meditation.)
And perhaps you wonder, “can she still make this blog fun to read with all these goals? Heck, can she even accomplish these goals?”
Oh yes, my darling friends, watch me.
The low-down on the #365yoga challenge:
“The #365yoga challenge is a way to create a community of yogi writers to support and connect about blogging in 2013. The goal is to write at least three times a week about yoga on or off the mat. Connect and share your blogs, read and be inspired, follow and be followed. Use the hashtag #365yoga to find other participants to join and follow. You must post your blog posts [on challenge loop] so the group can find them.”

What’s not to love?!?
In Meditations from the Mat, Rolf Gate says that yoga brings us “back to the essence of our true selves. Yoga is the practice of celebrating what is.”
So far the next 365 days, I’m going to celebrate what is. Me. You. The Universe. Creativity. Love. I’m ready to rock 2013.
