Yoga for Runners Photo Shoot with AKA Photographs

Camera shy.

When it comes to yoga and photos, I am a camera shy yogi.

Usually this is my face in EVERY SINGLE YOGA PHOTO:

Slightly pensive.
Not sure what to do.
Hesitant.
Are you taking a photo now? EEP. I look confused. This is Lora’s I’m not sure what to do in front of the camera face. It’s not bad, but it’s confused. Or something.
How do I look yogic and have you photograph me while doing yoga? I don’t know. So I make that same face. Lips kinda pursed. Trying to look super “in the zone.” And it grows old!

But last week. I had photos. With Kristen Arrojo Gnage of AKA Photographs.

I think she did GOOD! Somehow, she got me smiling, she got me yoga-ing, she got me in my running shoes.

Thank you Kristen!

Live in the Tampa Bay Area? I highly recommend AKA Photographs for your future photo needs. She does amazing wedding and engagement shots, too!

What do you think?

Here’s some sample smiles:

And YOGA for RUNNERS, of course!:

What do you think? Which photo is your favorite?

These are great pictures! I think the last one might be my favorite! Your face is awesome. I will say, you have got the pensive look down. My pensive look just ends up being me looking angry.

Tehehe. Thanks! I do love that last one when I hugged the tree–I have to say, hugging a tree is FUN! 😀

They are all very good! natural!! I am totally new to yoga. Just started trying it out and was surprised that it actually left me sore. I thought it would be good for stretching, but did not expect it to be strength training as well!

My favorite is probably the second! I love a bright smile 🙂

Thanks, “smiling is my favorite.” Let me know if you have any yoga questions and I am happy to help! 🙂

I love the first smiling picture and the picture of you hugging the tree (maybe because I’m a tree-hugger myself 😉 ) I used to do yoga all of the time, but I’ve gotten out of it recently. I’ve found a set that I love online…but I just haven’t been consistent in doing it! It’s so good for runners that I need to commit!
