I’ve been busy celebrating the journey

Audrey Hepburn once said Pick the day. Enjoy it – to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as they come… The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present – and I don’t want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future.”

I am guilty, guilty of enjoying the day and trying to appreciate the present–but also about fretting the future.

So I decided.

I decided for a break.

I intentionally hit the pause button on the blog.

I have been busy–recovering from the car accident, experiencing summer, doing many activities. Most importantly, I’ve been busy spending time with me, spending time with my family, spending time with friends. Experiencing and enjoying the present as much as possible this summer.

And I apologize that my journey into the self has kept me away from y’all.

I promise I am back!

I am working on some great posts for y’all, including a Kona Kase review, some awesome yoga events, and some wonderful Tampa Bay news.

But I needed to take some time away from the digital–to get myself back to being acquainted with the here and now.

Do you ever do that? Do you unplug and get back to you?

How does it make you feel?

I’ve been busy celebrating my journey and I have all the more smiles, growth, and tales as a result.

I’m glad to be back, though. I hope y’all didn’t miss me too much!

Welcome back! I too am feeling that way and taking some time to just be away from the digital world. I think July is a good time to do that. Enjoy family or take some alone time.

    Glad your back refreshed.

Welcome back! I totally get what you mean – sometimes it seems like a little too much with how technology has taken our lives by storm. Then at the same time, I spaz without Wi-Fi :p

I love, love that quote! It’s so true. It’s like that freeing feeling of being somewhere that you have no cell phone service, so you couldn’t even be connected if you wanted to be. Glad you got a chance to recharge.
