#PassLove: MyYogaWorks

A little over five years ago, I completed my 200 hour yoga certification through Yoga Works.

What a life changing experience!

Here is a photo from our last day of YTT, hard to believe it’s been over five years!

When a friend asked me on where she could find yoga videos that would cover TWO topics, including Pre-Wedding and Yoga for Runners, I wasn’t sure where to direct her. I assumed I would have to write up a list by going through my favorite yoga for runner videos by Sage Rountree, while trying to find stress-release yoga AND yoga for pre-wedding toning. Although I love online yoga videos, I wasn’t relishing the thought of having to look through so many different options and watch video after video to get a good list for my friend. I was prepared to do it.

And then. I remembered Yoga Works. They’ve expanded. It’s not just in studios any more. Yoga Works has gone online!

Yoga Works has now expanded online to offer what is called MyYogaWorks–which is an online collection of yoga classes to do on the road, at home, or in the great outdoors.

Coincidentally, My Yoga Works has “journey series” including one for brides, detox, and one for runners. Sweet! I found what she needed ALL in one place…

Moreover, I knew I could recommend the website.  I took over a handful of courses right off the bat to be sure, even though I was familiar with many of the West Coast Yoga Works teachers from my own Yoga Works Teacher training. (Names travel through the yoga grapevine!)

MyYogaWorks provides alignment based yoga, quality teachers, and easy to access classes. Highly recommend! I feel confident that students will be taught poses in a clear and safe manner. When you practice at home without a teacher, safety is key for me.

These classes are safe, clearly sequenced, and have clear instruction on the postures. You won’t be confused as to what you should be doing and, as a result, you will be able to quickly feel the benefit of the classes!
