Put your best foot forward!

They say it’s important to always put your best foot forward.

I couldn’t agree more.

It’s important to always do the best that you can do. To lead from your heart, from compassion, and from honesty and authenticity. To make a good impression by being the best version of yourself possible.

But you know what also can be important? Actually putting your best foot forward by wearing good shoes.

They say you can judgeย  a person by their shoes. Whether you know it or not, people look at your feet. And what they see determines a host of things. We’ve all seen that women wearing 6 inch heels who can barely walk and just thought “WHAT IS SHE THINKING!?!” (Come on, you know you’ve done that…) And socks with sandals? That’s a frightening site from tourists in the Florida wintertime.

But we also, literally, need to walk miles in our shoes. And I definitely don’t want to try walking a mile in someone ELSE’S shoes if they look ugly and uncomfortable. I get blisters from marathons, not from my shoes. But I *do* believe that it’s good for our feet to look cute. Because wearing fashionable shoes just makes me smile. You see your feet every day, why not look down and get an instant pick-me-up in the form of cute shoes?

And, thus, I have fallen in love with Juil shoes.ย  You may have read previously that I am now a Juil ambassador. And I’m completely obsessed. Especially with their new ballet flats!!! Ballet flats are perfect for the busy yogi-woman and runner on the go! Comfortable, practical, and CUTE!!!

I use to be one of those women that shoved her feet in crazy tall heels. Now that I stopped my feet love me and they look pretty too. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think we should be kind to our feet. I don’t currently own Juil shoes {the ones you’re wearing are beautiful}, but i believe I need to change that after reading your blog. P. s. Thank you for the discount code!

Love Love Love these ballet flats. They look super cute and comfy. I’ve previously worn Merrell barefoot ballets, but I might have to give these a try.
