The Runner’s Holiday Gift Guide
Because, let’s face it, you need a lot of stuff with you when you go for long runs. And the FlipBelt has your runner covered. It has a pocket for your energy gel, a pocket for your phone, a pocket for your id or credit card, a pocket for your whatever else you need while running! And a handy dandy key holder! Plus, it’s super cute! (And comes in a wide variety of colors)
The long distance runner needs a FlipBelt. I won’t go anywhere without mine! Long runs and races require so much stuff and you need to safely stash it somewhere. You’ll never find me running without my phone (safety first), keys, my asthma inhaler (just in case!), and a few emergency dollars. Depending on the race I may also have my driver’s license or a credit card stowed. That’s a lot of stuff to carry! Thankfully it all fits in the FlipBelt. I may never need half of what I’ve stowed away, but if I *didn’t* have it, I would be worried about something happening! And because it FLIPS, it is totally cooler than a fanny pack. Right?
Here’s my FlipBelt ready for a long run:
PhenOH7.4, Lorna Jane Activewear, hot pink pro compression socks, my new blue Flip Belt, and Saucony’s Kinvara 4s!
You wouldn’t believe how many gus I can fit in it! Plus, promo code “SWEAT10” will save you 10% on a FlipBelt on the FlipBelt website. I also have several 15% off discounts that I am allowed to hand out privately. If you want one, comment below! 🙂
2) Additional Running Accessories–because you have to fill that Running Belt, right?
Chews, gus, and laces–oh my! You could also be a super sweet Santa and get a GPS watch! But some gus, shock blocks, or other endurance chews (such as the FRS Energy & Endurance chews, shown below) all make for great stocking stuffers!
3) Socks and Compression Sleeves
Because runners can NEVER have too many socks! I’m a sucker for Feetures socks (especially the elite ultra light socks, shown below) and Pro Compression Calf Sleeves! The brighter colors the better!!!
4) Shoes! Running Shoes, Comfy Shoes, Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!!
Because all runners love shoes.
If you know the brand and size of their favorite running shoes, invest in a pair! Such as these Saucony Kinvara 5’s. (Psst, I’m a women’s size 8 in my running shoes….if you wanted to know! 😉 )
Juil Flats and Sandals, for men and women
Because when we aren’t wearing running shoes, we like to pretend we’re barefoot. And Juil shoes give you that barefoot feeling, when you’re forced to wear shoes! (Which, you know, happens a lot in life) Plus you can save 10% with code “lhogan10.”

5) Fun running clothes
I am a sucker for crazy fun running shorts. The snazzier the better! So of course I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shimmery gold shorts by Lorna Jane. But all runners like new running clothes. And all the better when the clothes have some added whimsy!

Because we all have running mantras. And we like to remind ourselves of those mantras for mile after mile, especially on race day. That translates to our time out of running shoes, too! For more inspirational tops, check out my past blog post where I highlight a few of my favorites!

BONUS: Give the gift of YOGA!!!!
Give your running friend the gift of yoga!!! Take them to a class, give them a studio gift card, buy them Sage Rountree’s Yoga for Runner’s Book, but find a way to give them the gift of yoga! Do yoga, run faster and better for years to come!
Did I leave anything out? What’s on your holiday gift list running friends?
