Lora Hogan > Yoga  > You are enough!!

You are enough!!

I’m participating in Kate Northrup’s #MoneyLoveChallenge. Because I love money. I want more money. And I think having a healthy relationship with money is necessary for success and happiness.

Today Kate discusses how “YOU ARE ENOUGH!”

This is a topic near and dear to my heart. In fact, I have written a blog post called “You are good enough” back in 2013.

In that post (which also featured a tasty banana bread recipe I made-up) I said:

“You don’t have to be perfect. I don’t have to be perfect. We are GOOD ENOUGH already, just as we are!! We are perfect in the moment. Wherever we are is just where we need to be. And that spot, that feeling, that outfit, that work project, that run, that yoga pose, that WHATEVER IT IS, is good enough and JUST RIGHT for the moment you are in.

Try your best, always try your best. But then…sit back and be happy with wherever you are.

STOP the voice in your head that says “you aren’t good enough.”  STOP the nit-picking.  Yes, it’s okay to learn from your mistakes, but be HAPPY with where you are and, egads, for how far you have come in life!

Every single day you are JUST RIGHT for that day.

YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH.

Don’t let that voice in your head tell you otherwise!!!”

We are ENOUGH!

This post couldn’t have come at a better time. I was suffering from some Lora confidence issues this week. My friend Amanda (whom I love dearly) pointed out that I put myself down twice in a two sentence conversation. And I had!

Because it is SO easy for us to forget that we are amazing. That we are awesome. That we are deserving of all the good things we have and all the great things yet to come.

Because we ARE enough.

Kate asked us to share three things about ourselves where we “are MORE than enough.” And then to share those reasons with the world.

So here’s three, randomly, without much thought to them. With photos. 😉

1)

I teach super fun inspiring yoga classes that people like. I sing. I use essential oils. We dance. I play the flute. It’s uniquely me, unique for each experience, and so enjoyable for all. I love teaching. I’m good at teaching. People enjoy my unique style of teaching. It’s 100% Lora. I am also lucky insomuch that I am able to teach in a variety of ways–through blog posts, through skype, through articles, workshops, teacher trainings, retreats, community classes, and more. I share my talents with everyone–near and far. 🙂

I’m creative AND I’m a go-getter. I can fundraise like nobody else and I LOVE to help causes I care about, especially if it involves bringing people together. I can write plays, put on shows, act in shows. I can plan all day yoga fundraising events like Energize Tampa Bay and Tampa Bay Plays 60:25 because I’m passionate about making a difference. And I actually CAN make a difference. And I have an amazing support group of people who have helped me along the way!!

3) I may not be the fastest runner ever, but I always smile while I run. And sometimes sing. And dance. Or otherwise boogie my way to the finish line. Usually, accompanied by amazing friends. That’s not something everyone can say! Smiling while running is the BEST way to run!! 😀 😀 😀

BONUS: I am sharing these few “enough” examples with all of you! Y’all are great!

Your turn. What THREE things are you super amazing at that you need to remember today?

Happy Friday!

xoxo,

Lora
