Got the Monday Blues?
I don’t know about y’all, but I was stuck with a case of the Monday blues.
I did not want to get out of bed this morning, no matter how much coffee I had.
I blame the pollen in the air, but really it could just be that I was tired because I haven’t gotten enough sleep.
Either way, I needed to get rid of this sluggishness ASAP.
Here are my THREE go to ways to energize yourself, even when you’re having that sluggish Monday:
1) Go for a walk!
It’s amazing how much better you feel when you get out in nature. Even if it’s just a walk around your office, get out there and MOVE IT MOVE IT!
2) Go upside down!! (I’m serious!)
It doesn’t have to be your best handstand ever. Maybe you just practice kicking! Our you do legs-up-the-wall pose. But turn your world upside down! You’ll be amazed how much better you feel!
3) Call up a friend and make plans!
Make plans to go take a ClassPass class with them that night, to go to dinner, to run, to shop at Anthropologie, whatever is your jam! But schedule something! Making plans can be an invigorating thing and seeing friends is ALWAYS a great way to pep up! 😀
