Take your yoga outside!
Spring has sprung and that means you need to get OUTSIDE!
What does this mean?!?
It doesn’t have to be anything crazy! You can practice a few poses in your shoes, like I am doing above!
You can sit down on a park bench for a little bit of seated meditation. I love to keep meditate outside both with my eyes open (to take in all the glorious sites of nature) and with my eyes closed (to listen to all the sounds of the birds and the world around me). Play with what you prefer! Maybe you decide to even make your walk into a meditation in motion, truly appreciating all the spring around you!
You can even get silly and play around with arm balances or other poses outside. This may take a lot more effort, however, as you have to be careful to not let any passersby interfere with your practice! Stay focused on YOU and your breath–no matter who may be walking by!
The important thing is to get outside and move your body! Take in the gloriousness that is spring. The flowers, the birds, the sun, the showers, everything!
