Meditation to get back to you!
After a long holiday weekend, it can be difficult to get “back in gear.”
I know. I’ve been there! We’ve all been there.
But it can be easier.
It CAN be done.
We can’t live in the land of vacation 24/7. Where would the fun in that be?
So, if you are dragging or feeling a little bit URGGHHHHH about Monday.
Join me in seated meditation.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to be bendy. You don’t even have to have much time.
All you need is a comfortable place to sit and at least FIVE MINUTES of your time. That’s not so hard, right?
Come to a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes from top to bottom.
Let yourself revisit the weekend and the holiday. Then, let that go.
Now focus on the week ahead.
Picture everything in your week going perfectly. Then, let that go.
Now, focus on everything that could go wrong–all your worries, everything. Really feel it. Then, let that go.
Now, focus on the week ahead as it is likely to happen. Let events unfold in your mind’s eye the way that they PROBABLY are likely to go. Then, let that go.
Just feel where you’re at.
With this knowledge of the time past and potential future, set a positive intention for the week ahead. Trust that the week will unfold exactly the way that it is meant to. Embrace the upcoming days and commit to living your fullest version of yourself each and every day!
Then, slowly, return to the room and return to your day.
