Five Ways To Embrace Your Femininty
It’s important for women to feel girly.
I know that I may get some negativity for saying that.
But I truly believe that we can only fully shine and be our authentic selves when we slow down and embrace our feminine side!
I’m fit and I’m active. I’m a hard working entrepreneur. All of that requires enormous amounts of masculine energy and go-go-go mentality.
But I am also so girly. And if I don’t sit down and get in touch with my feminine side, I can feel burnt-out, tired, drained, cranky, and just not “me.” It’s all about the balance though!
We all can easily get in touch with our girly side–no matter how much time we feel we need to controlling, planning, working, etc.
Here’s my quick ways to get in touch with your feminine thrills–even on the busiest of days!
1) DANCE PARTY!
Seriously. I have started to throw a one woman dance party every morning. Currently jamming to Taylor Swift, because she loves the red lips.
But you can dance party any time, anywhere. Even without music!
I rocked out before teaching my yoga class:
Dance, dance, dance!!
2) Red Lips Sink Ships.
There’s a reason my Tay Tay rocks it in red. Wear lipstick. Play with color. But have fun! I am obsessed with Lancome’s lipsticks and am sporting one of their red shades, below. (But I also love corals, hot pinks, anything girly!)
3) Don’t let going to the gym, yoga, run errands, Netflixing at home be the cause of the fashion blues. Have CUTE comfortable clothes.

4) Spend time with the senses!
Cook. Take slow walks and really look at the world around you. Go see art. Sing. Write. Read. Feel the texture in fabrics. Use all your senses!

5) Go inward, feel everything going on in your life, so that you can better embrace and handle everything happening outwards!
One of the best ways for me to do this is through yoga. When I have a lot going on and I need to go into me. I practice butterfly pose. Starting with the extended variation and then folding forward and just letting go completely.
And then let go completely…. AHHHHHHH. It helps for me to take deep exhales out the mouth, as well!
