HELP! I found my first gray hair!!!

Oh no!

It was a moment that every person fears…Especially every woman.

Something was amiss on my head.

I did a double-take.

I stared.

I tried to will it away.

I gasped. I sighed.  I shriveled my nose in annoyance. I tried to DENY it. To will pretend it couldn’t possibly true.

There was only one truth to the moment.

I had found my first ever gray hair!!

I guess this is growing up?

RIPPPPPPP! OUCH! I plucked the nasty gray out of my head. (That hurt BTW!) Counting on the fact that it’s an old wive’s tale that two more will grow in their place…

So the gray is now gone. They were itsy bitsy. They *could* have been super blonde. But I have a feeling that I did indeed receive my first ever gray hair. I am twenty-nine. It’s possible.  Let’s just hope they were really blonde?

Growing up is hard to do!

When faced with the prospect of aging, there is one thing to do. Make sure you age fantastically! Time for an extra dose off self-love.

The perfect solution? Practicing what I preach. I headed to my “Move” pinterest board for the Lorna Jane #lornajanespringclean  and decided to get my fit on.

Moving really does make you feel amazingly better.

There was yoga in work clothes at a Panera lunch! (Which lead to giggles with friends!)

And more laughter as I swayed and tried to balance in tree pose at Yogani Studios.

Tonight there will be more laughter, more yoga, and more MOVEMENT.  Because I *am* only twenthy-nine. Lots of awesome life left in me….and hopefully no more gray hairs for a VERY VERY VERY long time! 😉

You joining me? #lornajanespringclean #passlove

Ah ha ha ha ha ha ah ha!!! I have always heard that if you pull out one grey hair, 3 more will grow in in it’s place!!!! Don’t worry about it, that will only cause more grays, you can always dye your hair 😉

LOL, I saw my first gray hair at 20! Now at 39, my hair gets dyed about every 4 weeks. There are worse ways to age. 😉

LOL! I’ve had grays for a while now. I do color my hair, but they never really bothered me so much. Now, Mr PugRunner? He loses his mind when he finds grays. He will pluck them, go to the stylist to get a trim and just generally obsesses about them. I can’t help but laugh at him.

    I love it!!
I’m 30 (OMG) and I’ve had grey hairs for YEARS. I don’t even bother worrying about them anymore and they surely do stand out against my dark hair. *shrug*
At least I’m not balding like my dad was at my age? 🙂

I found my first grays when I was 28 and have been coloring it ever since. The gray doesn’t bother me as much as the fine lines. I suppose at 44 fine lines are a part of life.
