You must always forgive.
You must always let go.
Because to forgive is to open up to new joy and new possibilities.
And, often, it starts with forgiving yourself.
Let go your mistakes. Learn from them. Acknowledge them. And them forgive yourself. Let them go.
Forgive past hurts, past errors, past enemies, past friends, past feelings, past blame, past resentment, past wrongs.
Remember that forgiveness begins with love of you. Forgiveness of self and forgiveness of others.
Instead of hurt or anger, practice compassion.
Choose to forgive. Choose to let go.
Because then you can let in the new.
Open yourself up to that possibility.
Letting go the past is a guaranteed way to let in the present.
Forgive. And experience the happiness that follows.
“Forgiveness is not an occasional act; it is a permanent attitude.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
